PUMPS HEAT FROM OUTSIDE
AIR TO WARM YOUR HOME
-H-m-
PUMPS INDOOR HEAT OUTSIDE
TO COOL YOUR HOME
THE ONE MACHINE THAT BOTH COOLS
IN SUMMER AND HEATS IN WINTER
It's the heat pump and it literally "pumps
heat" from the air. And there is only one
temperature at which there is no heat in
the air. That's "absolute zero" — minus
273 Celsius! So, even when you're shiver
ing at 20 degrees F. (about minus 6
degrees Celsius) there's still plenty of
heal outside.
When you want your home warmed, the
heat pump transfers heal from the outside
air into your house. And in the hot
months, it draws heat from indoor air and
transfers it outdoors, just like an air
conditioner.
In areas like Central Kast Tfcxas where
winters are generally mild and summers
quite hot, the heat pump operates at its
greatest year-round efficiency primarily
because of the smaller average degree dif
ference between winter outside tempera
ture and desired inside setting.
The heat pump is the most efficient
heating and cooling machine available. In
typical installations, you get two units of
energy (heat) for every unit of energy
(electricity) used. The result is lower oper
ating cost and lower fuel usage.

of qualified heat pump sales and service
