Eagle's Nest
by Michael Gillen, Pastor
First Assembly of God, Rusk
When Jesus comes in the house there is a
difference in those within. He touches every
life within. He changes the seeker. He makes
himself known where all doubts are resolved.
What a difference when Jesus shows up! We
must determine to have spiritual experiences
rather than religious traditions. It is meeting with
this Saviour personally. When Jesus entered in
Simon Peter's house he healed Peter's mother
in law. It became known when he entered
another house for the crowds filled the place.
Some men carried the man sick of palsy. Jesus
saw their faith as he descended from the roof.
Jesus was in the midst and brought healing to
him. Though unbelief was observed in another
location He still did a few miracles. Nothing can
stop Him! Something out of the ordinary will take
place when Jesus shows up. He will come where
He is welcomed and invited. He will work more
where he is requested. Jesus responds to our
faith toward God to do what appears impossible.
God specializes in the impossible. Place your faith
to Him now and believe and entrust Him with your
situation and you will observe just how powerful
Godistoday. God has not changed. Theproblem
is not with God. It is with our lack of believing.
Where the presence of God is sensed believers will
be encouraged to believe. The presence of God
does not come without a sacrifice. He will make
himself known in your difficult situation. Friend,
don't give up, don't give in, simply believe for all
things are possible to those who believe, Jesus
taught. Now let us believe!
