* IN LOVING MEMORY OF *
LETHA JO PARSONS
HOLDING HIS OTHER HAND
by Beverly Parsons - In memory of Letha Jo Parsons
She only holds His other hand,
It's not too hard to understand.
The Creator Who controls time and space
Cari be both in heaven and in this place.
Up from grief's dark valley, we plead...
He gives us His hand to meet our need.
Yet beyond the horizon of human sight dim,
Our sweetheart rejoices in Heaven with Him.
She only holds His other hand,
It's not too hard to understand.
Though she can see Him "face to face"
We must see Him with eyes of faith.
He did not promise, on earth, no pain.
He promises the saved will be together again.
So He comforts our wounded hearts here, and,
In peace, she holds His other hand.
She holds to His nail-scarred hand,
In the garden with the Savior to stay.
Not so far apart do we really stand,
For we hold to His other hand.
A SPECIAL THANKS: To all our dear friends, thank you so much for your abun-
dant show of love and sympathy during our time of loss. We were pleased that
so many loved our beautiful Mother, Wife and Grandmamma, especially since
she lived a life of love and giving. We will all miss her terribly, though we have so
many pleasant memories to comfort us. Thank you for all the beautiful flowers,
plants, gifts of food, prayers and especially the gift of taking your time to show
us your love and concern. She taught us to appreciate all the little things that
mean so very much to us. We are so blessed.
In sincere Christian love,
