Circulation is "vvhrtl you invest your money in. Du ore interested in actual sutasu ibers not in lutitious claims.
We have completed a newspaper census of the City of Corpus C'hristi. We have done this foi the purpose of tfetermininy the 1 dat i .th
fiat advcrtianig mediums oiloiucl.
In taking thin census our reprosijntntivus visitacl ovaiy house in thu City and took the statements of residents as to what papers w r at tu.ilK sub
scribed for.
Triii cnnvnss was complola oxcopt in a few insUmcws where the residents refused to make a talement. and in other instances where the residents
could not be located. . 2eiSf$
Each of these sworn statements is on file at this office. All of them are open to advertisers under contract. We desire strict verification.
The reports of the convassers have been carefully checked and the results tabulated. Their correctness is attested by the affidavits of the canvassers.
The comparative circulation of The Caller and the evening paper has been computed on a percentage basis.
We Can Therefore Announce That in CORPUl
CIRCULATION OF THE CALLS
CHRISTI the
Is 4T t40 Per Cent Greater Than That of the Local Evening JPaperl
And Keineinber: I he local evening paper has never questioned or denied the fact that I he Culler has the much greater circulation outside the City
The fuel that The Caller is delivered all over South Texas on the day that it is published gives it an advantage that the evening paper cannot hope to over
come. Then as r.n afterthought The Caller has not held a contest of any sort in over two years while the evening paper has held one durina the current
year. Without that recent contest what would its circulation be?
The accuracy of the above statement is attested by the following affidavits made by the man Avho canvassed the City and bv The Caller's Circulation
Manager who tabulated the results and computed the percentage of value to the Advertiser. ' 1
We the unde.rsigned do hereby declare that the results obtained and submitted Iq The Caller Publishing Company by us while ensraired in t ikintr
newspaper census of Corpus Chvisti are correct to the best of our knowledge and belief. (Signed) SHKPHFRD '
