SEC. 2. That the Comfort County Line Independent School
District, as created by this Act, shall have all the rights, duties,
powers and privileges conferred by the General Laws of the
State of Texas upon independent school districts of school corporations
incorporated for free school purposes only, and shall
be under the control of the General Laws of the State of Texas
in all things.
SEC. 3. The full control and management of the public
schools of said Comfort County Line Independent School District,
as created by this Act, shall be vested in a board of seven
school trustees, who shall have and are herby vested with all the
powers, rights, privileges and duties that are provided by the
General Laws of Texas for boards of trustees of towns and
villages incorporated for free school purposes only.
SEC. 4. Immediately upon the taking effect of this Act the
county judge of Kendall County, Texas, shall order an election
for the election of seven trustees to serve as trustees of said
Comfort County Line Independent School District, whose terms
of office shall be as follows: The terms of office of the seven
trustees chosen at the first election under this Act shall be
divided into two classes, and the members shall draw for the
different classes; the four members drawing numbers, one, two,
three and four shall serve for one year or part thereof, that is,
until the first Saturday in April, A. D. 1926, thereafter, and
until their successors are elected and qualified; and the three
members drawing the numbers five, six and seven, shall serve
two years, that is, until the first Saturday in April, A. D. 1927,
thereafter, and until their successors are elected and qualified;
and regularly thereafter on the first Saturday in April of each
