3 inside Dallas and Tarrant Counties as the Ronald Reagan Memorial
5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
6 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
7 is amended by adding Section 225.059 to read as follows:
8 Sec. 225.059. RONALD REAGAN MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) The part
9 of Interstate Highway 20 located between the Tarrant-Parker County
10 Line and the eastern municipal boundary of Grand Prairie is
11 designated as the Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway.
12 (b) The department shall design and construct memorial
13 markers indicating the highway number, the designation as the
14 Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway, and any other appropriate
16 (c) The department shall erect a marker at each end of the
17 highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
18 (d) Notwithstanding Subsections (b) and (c), the department
19 is required to design, construct, and erect the markers only to the
20 extent that money is available for this purpose from a grant or
21 donation of private funds.
22 (e) Funds collected under Section 225.021 for the purpose of
23 implementing this section, shall be deposited to the credit of the
24 state highway fund.
