"Hondo;" but the enumeration of these
gumes speclllcully shnll not exclude uny
oilier properly within the meaning of
the two preceedlng sections.

exhibited Is Intended tu signify the net
of displaying the bunk or gume for the
purpose of obtulnlug betters.

Hkctiox 1. That wherever the t'lty
Council shall order sidewalks to be con-
structed graded curbed or lllled up
along nny of tho streets of the t'lty the
owners of the property along the line of
such street shall be notlllcd of the clan
of sidewalk soordered lobe constructed
grndedor lllled up.
Si.c. 2. All the sidewalks constructed
under tho provisions of this ordinance
exocpt Class "C" sidewalks shall bnvo
n curb six Inches wide and twenty Inches
deep tu be set In a trench eighteen Inch-
es wide on n bed of gravel four Inches
thick the gravel to be thoroughly con-
solidated by ramming The curbing to
be of such material us may be ordered by
the City Council. The sidewalks to be
constructed shnll be and the same aru
hereby divided Into three classes to-wlt:
Class A Class II and Class C. Class A
sidewalks shall be laid upon n concrete

known such notice shall be served by
publlcntlon In some newspaper published
In the City of San Antonio for one week
the cost of such publication to bo a
charge ugnlnst the property or such un-
known owner in front or which such
sidewalk Is ordered to be constructed.
Mhe. (I. At tho expiration of the time
when such sidewalk Is to be completed
the City Knglneer shall Inspect the same
and make his report In writing to the
City Council showing what portions ot
said sidewalk have not been constructed.
Sec. 7. Upon the acceptance and ap-
proval by tho City Council or tho report
of the City Knglneer provided for In
Section (I of this ordinance. It shall he
tho duty of tho Mayor In conjunction
with the Chairman of the Committee on
Public Improvements nnd Streets and
Ilrldges to contract for the construction
of such sIdewalkaIong the lino ofButd
street nnd fronting the property of the
owner or agent fulling refusing or neg-
lecting to construct such sidewalk In ac-
cordance with the notice served upon
him or his agent and the cost of con-
struction shall be n charge against the
owner or and a lien upon the lot part of
lot or block to be charged with the con-
struction of that portion of the sidewalk
on which It fronts.
St.c. -8. When such sidewalk shall
have been constructed ns Is provided
for In Section 7 of this ordinance. It
shall be the duty or the City Clerk upon
estimate tho cost of tho construction
grading or illllng up ofaald sidewalk
(routing encu lot part of lot or block
ulong the line or suit! street and he shall
enter Into u book regularly kept ror that
purpose opposite each lot part ot lot or
block tho cost or the construction ot said
sidewalk directly fronting each lot part
ot lot or block along the line ot said

shall deliver the sumo to the City Col-
lector for collection.
St.c. V. The City Collector shall Im-
mediately upon the receipt or the list
provided ror In Section S of this ordi-
nance notify the owners or agents. It

front of which sidewalks have been con-
structed In accordance with Section 7
of this ordinance to call at his olllco
within 'JO days from and after the llrst
publication ot such notice and pay the
cost or the construction of said Bldowalk
and the cost or collection which notice
shall be published In nny newspaper In
