Poisoned by Eating Chicken.

F. Murphy aged 10 ex-Mayor ofOmaha
died to-night after only n few days Ill-
ness from a mysterious malady. Several
members of the family were taken pe-
culiarly sick about a week ago. Mrs.
Murphy first showed signs of sickness
had pains In the back shoulders and
throat became sole but soon became ap-
parently well again. Two days later
Mr. Murphy was attested with the same
symptoms though iij ton soon rallied
and seemed on the way to recovery till
this morning when he was taken with
violent cramps which grew worse till
this evening when he died. The doctor
In attendance declares the caute of death
tobopliimane poisoning the result of
eating chicken which had been frozen
and then allowed tn become partially
decomposed. Murphy had eaten only a
small portion of the chicken and another
member of tho family who ate heartily
nas not yet ueen annexed. Mrs. aiur
poisoning by an outside party and sev-
eral physicians declare plumane poison-
ing could not have resulted under the
conditions of the case
