Description

Patent for "an automatic pilot coupling, which will enable the pilot bar of a locomotive to be coupled with a car by a brakeman while standing to the side of the locomotive out of the way of all danger, from which position he can accurately operate the device, thus doing away with all necessity for going between the moving engine and the car to which it is to be coupled."
