Rev. E. E. Carrington visited his
children in Bryan Friday and Sat-
urday.
Rain received in this area last
week was needed badly and appre-
ciated by community farmen.
The death of Mrs. Lonnie Hearne
has saddened the hearts of many
friends in Providence. Mrs. Hearne
was always in her place at church
and will be missed by all members
of the congregation. May God bless
her loved ones in their sorrow.

Valentine box, after which the out-
of-school girls and boys played
volley ball and baseball, respective-
ly. In volley ball, the school girls
won with a score of 3-2. The out-
of-school boys won in baseball,
