The Texas Administrative Code (TAC) is the official
compilation of all final state agency rules published in
the Texas Register. Following its efl'ectl\e date. a rule

deignated by a TAC number. For example in the citation

How to update: To find out ifa rule has changed since the
publication of the current supplement to the Texas
Administrative Code, please look at the Table of TAC
Titles Affected The table is published cumulatively in the
hlue-co\er quarterly indexes to the leras Register
(linuarl 21. April 15, July 12. and October II, 1004) In
its sco nd is sue each month the Teras Register contains a
cumulative Table of TAC Titles Affected for the preceding
month. If a rule has changed during the time period
scored by the table, the rule's TAC number will be
prinled with one or more Texas Register page numbers, as
