Notes

James Walter Patrick, 1921-1973, entered the Army Medical Corps in July 1942. He was then sent overseas to the Pacific theater in March of 1943. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his actions during the assault on Kwajalein Island. Patrick was also awarded three battle stars for participating in the action at the Marianas, the Marshalls, and Iwo Jima. Mary Jean Patrick (Ross) was the wife of James Patrick, with whom he had two children.
