The room was designed, decorated and painted by James Tupper and was presented by the Special Services. The room has multiple couches and chairs with small tables and lamps. Postcard with a photograph of the interior of the Recreation Hall at Keesler Field in Biloxi, Mississippi. The room was designed, decorated and painted by James Tupper and was presented by the Special Services. The room has multiple couches and chairs with small tables and lamps. There is a large picture on the back wall of servicemen in front of two aircrafts on an airstrip. There is a mural of two wings and windows on either side of the room. On the floor is a label "academic squadrons." On the back of a postcard are the names and addresses of the sender, A. Burlen, and the recipient, Mrs. Herbert A. Lampell. Burlen's name and information has been crossed out. Also on the back of the postcard is a printed explanation of the hall and "tune in "FREE FOR ALL" all-soldier show every Thursday 7:30 pm cwt WWL, New Orleans."

Notes

Pvt. Albert Burlen (July 7, 1926 - August 16, 2010) enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces in January 1945 but was an Aviation Cadet before enlistment. While in the Air Force, Burlen trained at various bases, including Keesler Field, Fort Dix, Pecos Field, Las Vegas, Fort Douglass, and Amarillo. Pvt. Burlen survived the war but separated from the Army Air Force in October 1945.
