of Public Welfare brought great benefits to the State and peo-
ple of Texas; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the House of Representatives of the State of
Texas, the Senate concurring, That the 60th Legislature extend
deep sympathy to the family of this outstanding man, whose
wisdom and love of humanity advanced the Texas welfare pro-
gram to a position of respect at home and among our sister
states; and be it further
Resolved, That copies of this Resolution be prepared for his
wife and son, and that when the two Houses of the Legislature
adjourn this day, that they do so in memory of John H. Winters.
