dents assisting a third student into a residence hall. The officer made con-
tact with the three in the building. The officer determined that two of the

nation notified a Campus Safety officer that the small moneybox inside the
St. Thomas Aquinas Eucharistic Chapel had been burglarized. The sexton
stated that someone pried open the moneybox and removed an unknown
amount of cash.
Sunday, April20,7:46 p.m. TheCampus Safety Office received a fire alarm
on the Notifier alarm panel for the lounge of O'Connell ITall. Campus Safety
called 911 and the Irving Fire Department was dispatched to campus. A
Campus Safety officer responded in the patrol vehicle to guide IFD to the
building. Another officer responded on foot and confirmed that the alarm
system had been activated. The officer went inside O'Connell and inspected
the lounge. There was no fire, and the officer determined that the alarm was
caused by a resident who accidentally burned food while cooking on a
stove.
Monday, April 21,11:09 a.m. The assistant athletic director called theCam-
pus Safety Office to report that three female subjects were inside the pool.
The assistant director also stated that the pool was locked and closed. A
Campus Safety officer responded and confirmed that three female subjects
were inside the pool. The officer determined that they were students and
instructed them to leave.
Wednesday, April 23, 4:35 a.m. The Campus Safety Office received a re-
port of a student having trouble breathing. A Campus Safety officer went to
the west side of Jerome Hall where the student was located. The officer
observed that the student was lying on the ground and appeared to be hav-
ing great difficulty breathing. The officer observed that the student was
unconscious and was minimally responsive on pain stimuli. The officer
had the Campus Safety dispatcher contact the Irving Fire Department Para-
medics. The officer then repositioned the student into a sitting position.
After being placed in the sitting position the student started breathing easier
and was able to answer questions. The student stated that she had con-
sumed alcohol and prescription analgesics. When the Irving Fire Depart-
ment Paramedics arrived and began evaluating the student she became ver-
bally combative. The student repeatedly refused medical treatment and was
finally transported to a local hospital by another student.
Thursday, April 24, 12:10 a.m. A resident of the University Place condo-
miniums called the Campus Safety Office to report that a small red vehicle
ran over a large crepe myrtle tree near Northgate Drive. The resident stated
that the vehicle had been traveling on Northgate at a high rate of speed
when it jumped the curb and ran over the tree. The resident also stated that
the suspect vehicle was parked near Gregory Hall. A Campus Safety of-
ficer responded and located a small red vehicle parked near Gregory that
had minor damage to its front bumper and crepe myrtle leaves all over the
hood. The officer confirmed that a crepe myrtle had been destroyed and
observed a set of tire tracks that led from Northgate to the area where the
tree had been located. The officer measured the width of each tire track and
the distance between the tires, and determined they were the same as those
of the red vehicle parked by Gregory. Campus Safety determined that the
vehicle belonged to a resident of Gregory Hall.
