Oil Springs Sept 14th 1871 Fowler (?) of Whitesboro + Robertson of Farmington are nearly off for home this morning We are all doing well enough helped to cut a bee tree yesterday + one the day before got a share of each (small) killed a turkey yesterday The deer are scarce right close the visetors have been dogging them It rained yesterday and seems coller a good deal to day We are alone at the Sulphur Springs when Fowler + 6 leave and but one Family at oil spring If it remains cool look for us sooner home than before no time to write more H S Moore
