Description

Copy of transcript for a letter from B. T. Archer to the editor of the Texas Republican, in which Archer has enclosed a copy of W. H. Wharton's letter to him dated November 28, 1835 for publication in the Texas Republican. In Wharton's letter he declines an appointment to be the Consultation Commissioner to the United States as he believes that Texas will not be able to obtain aid from the United States unless they fully declare independence from Mexico.
