OBITUARY
Mrs. Mildred Mercer Hubbard was born in Georgetown,
Texas, July k, 1908. She was the third child of the union of
Ralph and Eva Mercer, who preceded her in death.
In San Saba, Texas, she met and married Mr. Theodore R.
Galloway, to this union was born three children, Helen
Theresa, Theodore R., Jr. and Charles Edward. Helen
preceded her in death.
After living many years in California, she returned to San
Antonio and united with New Mount Pleasant Baptist
Church.
She met and married Brother Sheilie Hubbard and moved
her membership to Friendship Baptist Church. Brother
Hubbard preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Hubbard entered into eternal rest December 29,
1987 at 3:20 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Theodore R.
Galloway, Jr., San Antonio, Texas and Ralph E. Galloway,
Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Aleene J. Galloway;
one grandson, Ralph E. Galloway, Downey, Calif.; one
granddaughter, Ada J. Williams, Los Angeles, Calif.; three
great grandsons, Keirstin and Matthew Galloway, Downey,
Calif, and Carl E. Williams, Los Angeles, Calif.; one niece,
Mildred Lanell Richardson; one nephew, James W. Thomas;
numerous great and great, great nieces and nephews,
cousins, Mrs. Wilma Rose, El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Myrtle
Tabor, Corpus Christi, Texas and Mrs. Scottie Kenman,
Burnet, Texas.
