Sweetwater American Legion
The Sweetwater American Legion Post
#109 and Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. on
Monday, Jan. 9 at the Jaycees building at
1001 Crane Street. All members and veter-
ans interested in becoming members are
encouraged to attend. For more information

Sweetwater Little
League Coach Sign Ups
Coach sign ups will be held Monday,
Jan. 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sweetwater
Intermediate School Cafeteria. If you are
interested in coaching or assisting this year,
please sign up. Coaching sign ups are being
held at a different time this year. Those
signing up will need a copy of their driver's
license and will need to fill out a volun-

Livestock Association
The Nolan County Livestock Association
will be meeting Monday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m.

Woman's Forum
The Woman's Forum will meet at the
County-City Library at noon on Tuesday,
Jan. 10. Lunch will not be provided.
Sweetwater Aglow
Sweetwater Aglow Community Lighthouse
will host their monthly meeting at 7 p.m.
on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the Holiday Inn
Express. Guest speaker will be Heather
Ward from Sweetwater. Everyone is invited

Budgeting Workshops
The West Central Texas Center for
Economic Opportunity, in partnership with
First Financial Bank, will provide free home
budgeting workshops Jan. 10, 17, and 24,
stalling at 6 p.m. at 1102 North 3rd Street.
The workshops cover basic home budgeting
concepts and review money management
principles. Attendees will receive a general
budget example and one-on-one time to
set up personalized budgets; daily tracking,
expenses and income will also be discussed.
Community members may call 325-672-
8980 to reserve a seat. Assistance with credit
checks, financial counseling, and tax return
preparation is available upon request.
