Mildred. Janis, Lois and maybe,

The girls are always saying that
there must be something wrong with
the boys because they won't get dates
but they haven't considered that
something may be wrong with them.
C'ouid it be that Mildred has a
boy in irons out at Cedar Creek,
seeing that Janis and Lois were
there for the weekend.
Two Senior boys were seen Satur-

about that. Hopper and Bux ?
It seems that all the Seniors have

SOPH REPORT
Here we go again and here is the
news of the Sophs:
Friday night wa- quite a night for
the Sophs. After that wonderful
game with Eagle Lake most of the
Sophs, both girls and boys, went to
the Jinx Show.
Ann and Joanne seemed to have
rated this week-end.
Some of the Soph and Fish girls
had a slumber party Friday night.
Joy and Lena came home a little too
soon Saturday morning. Too bad!
The reporters want to wi h Sara
Lee Ingsley and Jean Haynie "Happy
Birthday". We seemed to have left
James Schaefer out last month.
Sorry!
A. J., we see you were handing out
pictures to all of your girl friends.
Too bail one of them gave one back.
Maybe after Saturday nig-ht
I see the Sophomores Wad the dates
Saturday night. I'd name them all
but it would take too long. At any
rate we saw the "old faithful-" -Shir-
ley and Prokop. Joy had a date.
A. J. and Lena appeared. And Larry
and James took out some Senior
girls. The rest sat home.
Your Soph reporters would like to
hear from some of the refi of you
Sophs. If you know an™ "dope"
please turn it in. We want to know
all so we can tell all.
Until next week this is your Soph
reporter sayinir: "Beat the Buffalos,
Beat the Buffalos, Beat 'em black
and blue!"

THE SENIOifCLASS
PRESENTS:
Seniors of the Week
LERAH HOFFMAN wa- born in
Bastrop on September 25, 1927. She
has gone to Bastrop school for eleven I
years.
It seems like both Seniors we inter-
viewed this week like steaks—Lerah
also likes chocolate pie. She likes
Harry James' orchestra, Gene Kelly.
Alice Faye and Dick Haymes. Like
many others, Lerab takes "I'll Walk
Alone" as her favorite .sonjf. Why
don't all these people get together?
Algebra is her favorite subject—no,
anything but this!
Lerah has been a great asset to
our class and we wish her all thf
luck in the future.

"The Little Brown Jug" —we wonder
why. Simply crazy about those
rtteaks that they serve aft"r the

"Bux's" ambition (like the rest of
us) is to get out of hijfh school.
After this i- achieved, he plans to

We have enjoyed having "Bux"

SOCIETY
Friday night after the mid-night
show, honoring the football boys,
Mrs. Wright and Miss "Lizzy" Ellis
chaperoned a group of girls on a
slumber party at the guest cabin. The
group included Sara Lee, Blanche,
I-rf'na Ruth. Joy, Lula Jo, Jane Allen,
and Jane Turner. After eating and
using every source of entertainment
available, drastically in need of some-
thing to do, they went to bed about
4 o'clock. Mo*t of the crew stayed
out Saturday. From what I gathered
they must have undoubtedly thor-
oughly enjoyed themselves.
Saturday night a whole raft of
