Mrs. Wichman
Mrs. Walter Wichman was
honored with a surprise birth
day party at her home on Mon-
night of this week.
Relatives and friends brought
delicious refreshments consist
ing of lime punch, sandwiches,
cake, lemonade, pies, and cook-
ies, whi^h were enjoyed by the
group. Mrs. Wi;hman received
many lovely gifts, and spent
h most enjoyable evening.

13. She discussed the meaning
of the Sabbath and Sabbath
worship to busy people.
The meeting was held in the
home of Mrs. A. N. Edwards,
with Mrs. Edwards and Miss
Mary Peterson as co-hostesses.

chairman, introduced the pro
gram work for the year, and
spoke on tne responsibilities of
ervice to the needs of the city.

his fourth birthday on Friday
afternoon with a lawn party
at the home of his parents.
Mr. and Mrs Henry Schuyler.
Joe Henry's large white birth-
day cake was centered with four
blue candles, ice cream and
cake were served, and horns and
balloons were given to the
guests.

Happy birthday to Rebecca
Ireland, who was five years old
Saturday. Her mother, Mr.-.
Mary Sue Ireland, celebrated
Rebecca's birthday with a party
at their home Saturday after-
noon.
The table was centered with
pink gladiolas and pink candles
in crystal holders. The birth
day cake- were white decorated
with white marshmailow gar
denias. Miniature windmills and
toy cosmetics were given to the
guests as favors.

ved to Mary Lynn Claiborne.

p m. Ballroom dancing, fifth
grade through ninth grade, at
5 p. m.

time, at the rea.-onable rate of
