here in Houston. This is to be one of the greatest
and most powerful trust companies in the country.
The capital stock of the company will be $1,000,000.00,
while there will also be a paid-in surplus of
$1,000,000.00 The prospectus of this company
gives so clear an idea of the functions of a trust
company, and particularly of the objects of the
present company, that the following liberal extract
is taken from it:
