It rained our S.S. out yesterday but by the tame
the 11 oclock services came the rain had gone and
there was a right resoectiable crowd at the Eattist ch
church. The sun is shining brightly and a breeze is
blowing so I expect to get oft Dart of the way home
this evening on fairly good roads,
Several of the men of the church got together
and built a new platform for the Rock church last
week. It is 11 ft wide by 1? long and 20 inches
high with the corner nearest the isle ckt back so
as not to Droiect out in the isle in the way. It is
located in the South West corner of the building
and has plenty of room for the choir and an orchestra
and gets my congregation all in front of me except
the choir. We could not fix the old building up
in an ideal fashion.but this is much better than it
has ever been. Never got to use it,however, last
Sunday because of the rain, and now it will be twos
weeks more before I shall get the use of it.
Had some S.S.reoort cards printed last week
which I think will be very benficial to the schools
of both Eliaiville and Throckmorton.
Here’s what’s next.
