Dear Folks st ome,--1--.
Easter speAl of weather -i on,and :I think it
is the worst spell I ever saw on Easter.
Last Friday a right good sized delegation of
our ohuroh went to the C.E.convention in Sherman,
some in a oar *and some on the train. I was one of the
party in the oar. Got stuok in a mud hole not far
from-home and had quite a time getting.out. Arrived
in Sherman in time to-.get a short rest before the
convention opened at 7:15 p.m.. Saw Bessie Grace and
Jake a good deal
ate supper at the college with
B.G. and stayed all night with Jake at the Fitbhs
'Left Sherman on the s:FO p.m. train for Gainesville
in ordee to be here for services Sunday morning.
All the dele atein every way. I have
been giving a lot of my personal attention to it
sinoe [I oame,but have already served notice that
I.am going to let them have it largely to themselves
now.and give most of my time to Sunday School
building. They dontt need my help muoh now,and lit
will be better for them to be iindependent.
We are having weekly teachers' meetings for
the S.S.teaohers for the two-fold purpose of discussing
problems and plans, and of preparing for teaching
the lesson for the following Sunday. I think we are
doing a lot for a little church of 15o members.,
But according to our plans for the future we are J
Must stop and get a lot of other letters off
