Description

Onionskin paper carbon copy of letter from John J. Herrera to J. Carlos McCormick, Assistant to Chairman, Democratic National Committee, suggesting that LULAC should host a State Director's Ball for Joe A. Garza, State Director of LULAC, for his great work in organizing many new LULAC Councils. Apart from inviting the LULAC members from all the districts, Herrera wishes to take the opportunity of inviting President John F. Kennedy, as he would be visiting Houston in November, and the program could be held during that time.
