Letter to Ed Idar, Jr. from an unknown source, informing Idar that John J. Herrera announced that he would be a candidate to the Legislature for "place 5 from Harris County." The author of the letter states that Herrera was convinced to run by "a group of businessmen, including Jewish and Negro Leaders."
