Speech by John J. Herrera, LULAC Past National President, at the LULAC Installation Banquet held in the Menden Hotel of San Antonio, Texas, on June 1, 1957. This contains only pages one and two of the speech. The speech concerns the continuing fight against discrimination and the lack of opposition by LULAC leadership against the passage of House Bill 231. Praises Senators Kazen and Gonzales for their fight against this bill.
