Secretary of State
The State Banking Board has adopted an emergency rule
which allows an applicant for a state bank charter to withhold
the names of prospective officers of the proposed bank until
the Board rules on the application. The rule is also being pro-
posed for permanent adoption and appears in both the
"Emergency Rules" and "Proposed Rules" sections of this
The Comptroller of Public Accounts is proposing to amend its
rule on monthly tax reporting exemptions by adding language
which defines the term "reasonable estimate."
The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners is proposing
numerous amendments to three categories of rules. Most of
the amendments are proposed to adapt the affected rules to
S.B. 222. passed by the 63rd Legislature, 1973.
