MONDAY MORNING, 9 O'CLOCK.
The Association was called to order by the Mod6rator; and
after devotional exercises, the minutes read and adopted.
Brother E. H. Kearse was received as a Corresponding
Messenger, from the Baptist State Convention.
On motion, a committee, consisting of the following breth-
ren, Elders E. Greathouse, B. J. Bassel, R. L. Hood. Joseph
Dunn, were appointed a Committee on Nominations.
The following brethren were appointed Corresponding
Messengers, viz :
Waco Association.-Elder J. 31. Wright and H. J. Cham-
Little River Association.-IR. L. Hood and L. E. S. Wil-
Austin Association.-Elders G. W. Baines, G. W. Joiner,
J. M. Wright, and Brother Cyrus Eastland.
Baptist State Convention, Sabbath-school Convention and
Educational Convention.-Elders J. M. Wright, E. Great-
house, G. W. Baines.
Adjourned to 2 o'clock, p. m.

REPORT OF MISSIONARY OF LEON RIVER ASSOCIATION.
DEAR BRETHREN-AS your missionary, I report as follows:
I commenced my labors immediately after the adjournment of the As-
sociation, and labored about one month. It then became necessary for
me to make preparations for the comfort of my family. I was compelled
to stop. On the 15th of January I was taken sick, and was unable,
therefore, to perform any missionary labor until about the last of April,
at which time I re-entered the field and continued until the meeting of the
