Two outstanding individuals in
MEDDAC received the DAH
Soldier and NCO of the Quarter
awards for the first quarter of
FY 73 last week in a ceremony
in the Medical Library at
'Darnall Army Hospital.
Spec. 6 Ronald W. Smith
[Medical Co. USDAH won the
NCO of the Quarter award and
Pfc Walter E. Jacobsen Medical
Co. USDAH took the Soldier of
the Quarter Honors. The awards
were presented by Col. John B.
Moyar commanding officer.
Each man was presented with
a three day pass a $25 U.S.
Savings Bond and is eligible to
appear before the in Corps &
Ft. Hood NCO or Soldier of the
Quarter selection board plus
being exempt from the duty
roster for the quarter. All in
recognition of his outstanding
achievements.

Junior Leadership Training
sessions ever conducted by
boy leaders in Leon Valley
District. Over a period of
three weeks on Saturdays
