missed Miss Carolyn Dixon, our
former Demonstrator very mucn,
and the elub wishes her the best
of luck in her new work. But we
were delighted to have Ruth Wil-
ey Marshall, our new Demonstra-
tor, meet with us. TTiere were just
a few who had not made her ac-
quaintance a few years ago, so I
think we have things straight-
ened out and are ready to go to
work for a big ^"Victory Year."'
Mrs. Marshall gave a very inter-
esting demonstration on Founda-
tion plants, and how to set them/
Mrs Snider gave some dis.cussion
on preparation and use of com-
posts for trees, shrubs and plants,
while Mrs. Liila Matthews spoke
on food economy. Our year books
"checked and Mrs. Allen Mize was
put in as dairy demonstrator and
Mrs. C. B.* Parker poultry demon-
strator. Next meeting Thursday
afternoon, March 4 with Marie
Fowler. Members present were:
