week. Weekday morning services
are at 10 o'clock, evening prayer

Marie Lamar, all journeyed to
Arlington Saturday where

to walk with canes for a number
of years, this is the most injur-
ious fall he has had. We surely
hope he will soon be up and a-

Wednesday night of last week
Mrs. A. R. Marley took her group
of GA girls down to Mrs. Clara
Deans where the girls gave a
very enjoyable program on mis
sionaries. Those present and
taking-part on the program were
Elaine Webster, Sharon Mc-
Dougle, Brenda and Debra Mar-
ley. Mrs. J. B. Marley was also
present and she also was an
overnight guest of Mrs. Dean.
Several farmers took their
tractors and tandem disc and
plowed the farm of S. P. Starrett
on Friday of last week. Mr. Star
rett was also released from the
Crosbyton hospital Friday morn-
ing. We surely hope he will con

house all repapered last week,
so everything looks so nice over
there.
Mrs. C. A. McClure visited in
the Hoye McClure home awhile
Friday afternoon.
Tuesday night and Thursday
night Mr. and Mrs. Duane Mc-
Clure and girls, Rhetta and Ter-
ri were callers; Friday night Mr.
and Mrs. McClure visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald McClure
and children.
Boy didn't we have some dan-
dies last week, the dirt blew
Tuesday. Thursday, Friday anii
Friday night it sort of got in
earnest. But Sunday was a very
lovely day. We still are getting
freezing weather. There was a
lot of ice Saturday morning and
again Sunday morning. Looks
like it is determined to get the
frfut.
Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Thornhill
drove down to Big Spring Satui
day morning to spend the week
end with Mrs. Delrna Norris, Bob
and Sandra. Saturday night Mr.
and Mrs. E. A Clark of Ringling,
Oklahoma came down. So seems
they all really had a good time.
Mr. and Mrs. Jodie Joplin vis-
ited Saturday afternoon late
with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ayerz
and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ayers, all
of San Antonia, in the home oi
Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Bradberry in
Crosbyton. The Ayers came to
attend the funeral services of
Mrs. Jim Eidridge.
Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs.
Joplin visited with Mr. and Mrs.
W. H. Ratheal and also with Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Trull and fam-
ily.

of the Lakeview community
were Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Thorn
hill and Tommy. Kelton and Ka
ren Winegar and Georgia Ann

and Mrs. Richard Sudduth and
girls, Diann and Rickie Lynn.
