feet wide 200 feet high. It is estimated at 10000000 tons of ore valued at
92000 per ton. After years of persistent effort some well-known St. Louis peo-
ple have secured this vast property and have incorporated the Arizona United
Copper Mining Company with headquarters at No. 506 Chemioal building.
They propose to make this enterprise to St. Louis what the Great Lake Copper
Mines are to Boston. A single mine of the Lake group has in the past thirty
years paid through the Boston office more than 362500000 In dividends.
Preparations are well advanced to operate large reduction works on thelArl-
zona property and it is the determination of the management to employ all im-
proved methods and build up the greatest mining enterprise of modern times.
The future of this company is assured. They have resources in ore as great in
extent as the United Verde Copper Mine of Arizona which is now putting out
monthly mineral greater In value than the total combined output of the world-
famed Cripple Creek District ia Colorado.
