modiste of Fifth Avenue announces that she has closed a contract with
Mlle. Bertha Craven, the Broadway Craze, as a fashion model. This
is another step forward for Madame Gordon, who is noted as having

Moscow, Russia, May 9, 1932, -The Moscow Artists Ensemble
have just completed a most successful season at the Moscow Arts
Theatre. Horace Tubbakavitch Brewster, the leading ballet dancer,
has been offered a fabulous salary for next year.
Detroit, Michigan, May 11, 1932.-Manager Leslie Cox an-
nounces that he has matched Battling Sidney Smith, the heavyweight
champion, and Dynamite John Watson for a championship bout at

in the Marathon Hop Scotch Dancing today by Miss Thelma Carnaham,
who hop scotched continually for 17 days, 10 hours and 3 minutes.
