A newly reorganized club in Mineral Wells High School
is the Junior Classical League.
Though small in size the J. C. L. carried on many worth-
while activities during the year. Each week it sponsored
a newspaper article in the Index about words of Latin
derivation and about Roman customs. On December 17th
they visited the Cleburne Latin classes and J. C. L.
During Latin Week in March they placed posters in
the school and presented a panel discussion at the Junior
High School to show the importance of Latin.
