The membership of th1e Spanish Club, Los Vecinos, is
composed of all students who are studying Spanish or who
have studied Spanish in Mineral Wells High School. Its
purpose is to give the students an opportunity to practice
the language and to study our neighbors south of the
The study programs for the year were designated to
picture an imaginary trip to Mexico by various routes. An
assembly program in Spanish and a trip to Fort Worth
high-lighted by dinner at the Mexican Inn, were the chief
functions of the club in the 1952-'53 school year.
