J. D. Sawyer and family will
leave Wednesday for their new
home at Bi;v Springs. Mr. Saw-
yer has purchased considerable
land there. Mexia loses a splen-
did citizen and a most estimable
family by his departure and hates
to give them up: We trust they
will be well pleased with their
new home.
In this state it is not necessary to
serve a five day's notice for eviction of

syrup Kennedy's Laxative Honey and

Mr. P. B. Arrington, formerly when a woman 8uffera fror" depress-
£ r> u 1 ing weaknesses, she then keenly realizes
of Groesbeck who a now work- h£ th„r„ughly worth-
ing in in the Central freight de- lesa ahe iB Dr shoop haa brought
partment here, has rented Mrs. relief to thousands of such women. He
reaches diseases peculiar to women in
two, direct, specific ways—jv local
treatment known by druggists every-
where as Dr. Shoop's Night Cure, and
a constitutional or internal prescription
called Dr. Shoop's Restorative. Dr.
Shoop's Night Cure is applied locally,
and at night. It works while you
sleep. It reduces inflamation, it stops
discharges, it heals, it soothes, it com-
forts, it cures.
Dr. Shoop's Restorative (tablet or
liquid form) is a constitutional, nerve
tissue tonic. It brings renewed
strength, lasting ambition and vigor to
weak, lifeless women.
These two remedies, singly, or used
together, have an irresistible, positive
helpful power. Try them a month and
see. Sold by City Drug Co.
Herring's place from C. M. Al-
derman. Mr. Arrington will
move his family here shortly.

There is nothing so pleasant as that
bright, cheerful, at"-peace-with-the-
world feeling, when you sit down to
your breakfast. There is nothing so
conducive to good work and good re-
results. The healthy man with a healthy
mind and-body is a better fellow, a bet-
ter workman, a better citizen than the
man or woman who is handicapped by
some disability, however slight. A
slight disorder of the stomach will de-
range your body, your thoughts and
your disposition. Get away from the
morbidness and the blues. Keep your
stomach in tune and botli your brain ^
and body will respond. Little indiscre-
tions of overeating can be easily cor-
rected and you will be1 surprised to see
how much better man you are. Try j
a little Kodol For Dyspepsia after

"NAILS."
"Nails are a mighty good thing—
particularly finger nails—but don't be-
lieve they were intended solely for
scratching-though I used mine largely
for that purpose for several years. I
was sorely affected and had it to do.
One application of Hunt's Cure, how-
ever, relieved my itch and less than a
box cured me entirely."

dren of Hastings, Okla., are in

B. Vaughn, Elba, Ala., writes: "Be-
ing a constant sufferer from constipa-
tion and a disordered liver, I have
found Herbine to be the best medicine,
for these troubles on the market. I
have used it constantly. I believe it
to be the best medicine of its kind, and
I wish all sufferers from these troubles
to know the good Herbine has done for
me. "—Mexia Drug Co.

There is more Catarrh in this section
of the country than all other diseases
put together, and, until the last few
years was supposed to be incurable.
For a great many years doctors pro-
nounced it a local disease and prescrib-
ed local remedies, and by constantly
failing to cure with local treatment,
pronounced it incurable. Science has
proven catarrh to be a constitutional
disease and therefore requires consti-
tutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh
Cure, manufactured by F. J. Cheney &
Co., Toledo, Ohio, is the only constitu-
tional cure on the market. It is taken
internally in doses from 10 drops to a
teaspoonful. It acts directly on the
blood and mucous surfaces of the system.
They offer one hundred dollars for any
case it fails to cure. Send for circu-
lars and testimonials.
