1. Using the forms sent each chapter, please observe the following instructions for
photo submissions:
A. Send no more than five photos per chapter unless otherwise requested or
approved.
B. Do not send Xeroxed copies of photos or newsprint. For best quality of
reproduction send sharply defined black and white glossy prints. Color
photos do not reproduce well in black and white, especially if the
background is dark.
C. Place each photo in a separate 8 x 10 white envelope, open on two sides,
and number each envelope, e.g. Photo 1 of 3.
D. Number each photo to correspond to the envelope in which it is enclosed.
E. On each envelope type the following:
1. The name of, the chapter.
2. The name of the program facet, if applicable, e.g., National Trends and
Services
3. The name of the event, e.g., Health Fair at John Doe Middle School
4. The names of the particpants, e.g., L-R, Row 1, etc.
F. Hinge typewritten copy to the back of each photo which duplicates the
information given on the envelope in which it is enclosed.
G. Make checks or money orders to cover the cost of photos payable to The
Links, Inc., National Headquarters, Washington, D.C.
