The Western Area Newsletter is a quarterly publication of local chapters of The Links, Inc., located in the western United States. It contains letters from the area director as well as chapter reports, financial statements, rosters, member updates, officer information, conference announcements, and other news related to the organization's service and personal development activities. Included in this particular issue are two additional pages containing correspondence, the text of a telegram, and other announcements related to activities discussed in the newsletter.
