To tfije OitiKens of Orange Coun-

Gr(|etinps"'from the Orange Car-
penters' Local No. 2007.
We want the citizens of this
County to understand our aim
and purpose of a Union Local. We
do not want to be misunderstood,
but want to show that we are
working to benefit our home
county and city-
We were organized as a Car-
penters' Local in 1938. We felt
that a body of men working to-
gether could get better working
conditions than if we worked in-
dividually. Quoting Abe Lin-
coln, "A house divided cannot
stand."
We want to better our condi-
tions by fair working wages and
understanding between Employet
and Employee. If a clear under-
standing is derived of the work
to be done and the conditions un-
der which we do it, the work will
progress faster and neater. t In-

This town is fair-minded and
will understand that a Union is
for the benefit of its Carpenters.
Help support this group of men
in their efforts- We organized to
inculcate the principals of work-
organization the carpenters' trade
would become the pry of unfuir
bosses and we would be reduced
tc poverty and want.
Let's work together in keeping

and keep our carpenters and oth-
