Percentage calculation based on the actual vote at 1:30 Sunday
morning computed against a possible vote of 407000 and compiled by
homogeneous political areas gives Colquitt 109000 Brooks 87500
Campbell 71000 Culberson 91000 Henry 39000 and Davis 9500.
At 1:30 a. m. Sunday the Texas Election Bureau had accounted for
128.000 votes representing incomplete returns from 150 Texas counties
ind giving totals for the several state off ices as follows: y

For Robertson Law: For 49465 Against 32256.
From the above figures it will be noted that the vote on the United
States Senator accounted for is 120000. 0. B. Colquitt with a lead of
approximately 5600 over S. P. Brooks was the leading .senatorial can-
didate with United States Senator Culberson running a good third.
Campbell was running behind Brooks who was the strong prohibition
1st and Henry was pulling up badly in fifth place. Governor James E.
Ferguson had a lead of 15000 oyer Chas. Morris for re-nomination as
governor and his leacj was increasing with each total. Early in the even
ing Morris had run ahead of Ferguson. Attorney General Looney
maintained a consistent lead of 12000 over John W. Woods for Attor-
ney general. Nelson Phillips Chief Justice of the Supreme Court lead
C. H. Jenkins by more than 2(000 votes and appeared renominated by
a safe margin. Between associate justice Yantis of the Supreme Court
and R. W. Hall the contest wa close Hall having a lead of more than
2500 at that hour although Yantte had led by same margain earlier.
W. C. Morrow continued to lead A. J. Harper for the position of associate
judge of the court of criminal appeals having a margin of more than
12000.
Allison Mayfield appears to be re-nominated for railroad commission-
er leading John W. Robbins by more than 34000 votes. J. M. Edwards
had an apparently safe margin for state treasurer with a lead over J. Yv.
Baker of 19000.

J. T. Robison was safe for land commissioner with 47000 over Cfeers.
Commissioner of Agriculture Fred W Davis had a majority of 13000
over Kalbert and Comptroller H. B. Terrell was well to the fore with a
majority of more than 250Q0.
Congressman Jeff McLemore and Dan Garrett continued to lead for
eongressman-at-large with Congressman. H. (Cyclone) Davis in third
place. The submissionists who had maiHned a majority of about
4000 all through Saturday evening held tSaflead and the Robertson Law
proponents were mor than 17000 votes aKead of the Gibson bill pro-
ponents. The returns were coming slow from many counties owing to
the great length of the ticket.
