Flour from sawdust is another stop

TJie flour In question Is not the kind
which goes into the making of light
fluffy biscuits and the other kind
which are not light or flaky psulry
but it is an Ingredient of dynamite
'ilaoleura xyollte which for the Infor
mation of the man on the street is a
kind of artificial flooring and otpev
tltlag. It la not put forward as. a
mw dlaeoyary for it has been in ues
for several years In Europe and to a
small extent in tnia country.
Tfee wood flour Is ground In a cheap
All mill very similar to those wbleh grind

troglycerine which is tho explosive
Ingredient. Wood flour dynamite 13
Inferior to that made with Infusorial
earth as the absorbent; but it serves
jnany purposes and is cheaper iiut
dynamite h one of the smallest proa
pecttye usee for the. product. Lino-
leum makers mix It with Unseed oil
and give body to their floor coverings
It Is not considered quite equal t9
ground cork for this purpose as K u
less elastic; but m cheaper and
