Comfort. Tex. June 27. In the
presence of the assembled wedding
guests at the home of hi Intended
bride Jo Itetuhart. thu man who was
to bare been married to her shot and
Instantly killed Miss Ernestine Kutzer
and then shot and probably fatally
wounded himself.
The tragedy waa as terrible as It
was unexpected. The hour for tho
ceremony wan at hand and the guests
who had been bidden to the festival
were assembled In the parlor of the
home of the bride's father. Young
Reinhart walked into the room r.here .
Miss Kutzer and the guests were as-
sembled and drew a pistol from his!
pocket leveling It at his sweetheart.!
Kb threw up a hand as If to ward off'
the danger and three shots were fired :
at her in rapid succession at close
range. The first bullet entered her
heart killing her Instantly. Helnhart
then turned the pistol upon himself
and fired two bullets Into his own
breast. One of them entered the left 1
and the other the right side. He Is
niTt expected to survive.
The can of the tragedy Is not
known. The relations between the i
sweethearts have been typical of lor-!
era and the marriage was expected I
toe happy. The theory of the neigh-'
