Texas newspapers agreo that the
grand old State la on the threshold
of a great business awakening. No
part of the State should profit more
by such a revival than Paris and La

the farmer and the business man will
realize our possibilities. l'arls Advo-

essential to the proper development

' LIKES TO TRADE IN BRYAN.
Mr. V. B. Williams of Cross Grim eg
county was a pleasant caller at The
Kagle office lute yrstrday aftrnoon.
Mr. Williams came Into the office to
have the Weekly Eagle sent to h's
daughter. Mrs. Mattlo llalley at Ali-
son Joiu-s county for which pluce
she leaves toduy. after a visit in hr
parents at their Crimea county home.
Mr. WHIIhiiis was also- accompanied
by Ills sou. Mr. J. C. Williams and
both brought with them cotton and
potaioca which they disposed of on
the Bryan market to better advan-
tage than they could elsewhere. Mr.
Williams states that there are two rail
roads at his homo town and consid-
erable activity In cotton buying but
tie receives a higher price for his
staple In re than clsewhere.whleh he
suppose Is made osslble by the ad-
vantuj.es detailed in these columns
several weeks ago.
He also rinds it H pleasure to do
btiHliM't.4 with Bryan merchants who
have line stocks or goods and who
sell at closer prices than ho rinds
elsewhere. The service here Is also
more satisfactory where all the sales-
people seem to tako a renl pleasure
in snowing tlie Roods.
The Kagle lakes occasion again to
say to it readus that Bryan Is the
best Interior cotton market In the
stute .Hid iiKks Its readers to compare
the price printed in thU paper every
"ay with price claimed to be offered
elsewhere. Also look oer the tula
or the merchants In uiur' paper and
see whether you cannot also make 11
