By virtue of authority vested in
me by law and the direction of
the City Council of the City of
Denison, Texas, I, Clarence Scott
mayor of the City of Denison,
Texas, do hereby proclaim and
order an election to be held on the
1st day of April, 1941, for the
purpose of electing a mayor and
one alderman to serve in the City
Council for a period of two years
as provided by law.
I hereby designate the following
places at which said election shall
be held and the judges at each of
said polling places, to-wit:
First Ward—Election to be held
In the building known as the W.
O. W. hall, comer of Woodard
street and Austin avenue. Presid-
ing judge, Fred Finley; assistant
judge, Miss Genevieve Sweeney.
Second Ward—Election to be
held in the building known as 511
West Main street. Presiding judge
Geo. S. Hoey; assistant judge,
Mrs. A. M. Morris.
Third Ward—Election to be
held in the building known as 800
West Morton street. Presiding
