Brownwood Is going to experience -great activity In
building foe coming yenr and one' of the most popular
establishments at that time is going to be the Brown-
wood Lumber Company already oneef the leading Insti-
tutions of' the city.
The Brownjrood Lumber Company was established In
this city In 188S and for thlrty.two continuous years has
ddne its bit In making BroWTigood and Brown county the
residential section It Is today.
This company has the distinction of havlsg for Its
manager the oldest lumber maa from the point of service
In Brownwood of any yard In the city. He Is 31. H. Ores-
ham who seventeen years ago starte In as bookkeeper for
this company seven years'; later becoming Its active man-
ager a position he lias held continuously van since. Mr.'
Gresham Is a maa who knows the people here and has
done much In developing the resources of this section of
the country many a time accounts have been carried
through periods of adversity as raaaager of the company
