show enough interest in the matter to
insure a good attendance of the farm-

Brownwood cannot afford to delay
securing a creamery. Such a con
cern would' have made business much
better here all this summer. It pays
in times of drouth and In times of
plenty and above all it Insures a re
gular and steady InCome for all far
mers who care to keep cows and to
give them attention in proportion to
their cash yielding returns. Let's get
togethcrWl establish a creamery and
a large broom factory. Both can be
done with comparatively no cash out
lay on the part of the citizens. Will
you help with your influence?
Really Coleman ought to cut Its
water rate to less than fifty cents if
the town wants to grow. The Jcind of
rate creates an Impression that water
is scarce deucedly scarce.
It is not the fortune of every one to
have any very large inlluence. but the
person who is satisfied to fill the
small space into which he happens
to be placed will always find in time
a field for greater influence and help-1
fulness. After .all it is -the little things
and the little evidences of thoughtful-
ness that count most any way. and no
great iiiidtWtdiigs. If you find oppor-
tunity .to be of some small service each
day to .some one needing that service;
yu pedd not count "that (lay misspent.
