Fireworks Ordinance
To Be Enforced
The Fourth of July is upon us again and all
of the celebrating that goes with it, also, fire-
works used to be included. This is not so any-
more as fireworks have been banned by many
cities all over the nation.
We do want to call your attention to the
Sachse citv ordinance No. 158: the part that
includes FIREWORKS.
It shall be unlawful for any person to store,
to offer for sale, expose for sale, sell at retail,
or use or EXPLODE any fireworks within the
City limits of Sachse.
Definition of fireworks shall mean and in-
clude any combustible or explosive composi-
tion and shall include blank cartridges, toy
pistols, toy cannons, toy canes or toy guns
in which explosives are used, firecrackers,
torpedoes, sky rockets, model rockets, roman
candles, da>go bombs, sparkers or other devices
ot like construction and an> devices containing
any explosive substance.
The fire department will be enforcing the
ordinance and violation of the ordinance could
result in a fine of up to $200, for each offense.
Help prevent fires and complaints about the
offensive noise, abide by the City ordinances.
If a violation occurs in your neighborhood. . .
Report It... Call the Police - 495-2005 - or the Fire
Deparment - 495-1133.
