SACHSE CITY COUNCIL
My name is Pat Mclnnish. My wife, Kay, and I have lived in
Sachse since 1983. We have two sons, Jeff and Keith, and
one grandson, Kyle.
My community service includes several worthwhile projects
as a member of the Citizens for a Progressive Sachse and
membership in the Sachse Lions Club. I also currently
serve on ihe City's Planning and Zoning Commission. I
have a printing business in Mesquitc where I am a member
of the Mesquitc Rotary Club and the Mesquitc Chamber of
Although we have only lived in Sachse for a short while, my
roots are here. As a descendant of the City's founder,
William Sachse, and a homeowner, I want Sachse to
prosper and grow in a manageable fashion, while maintain-
ing the atmosphere and heritage of the City's past.
My goals as a member of the City Council are to strive for
Ihe kind of government Sachsc's Citizens deserve.
My lirsl concern is to see that we maintain our basic city
services at reasonable costs compared to other cities in the
area. I am concerned as you probably are about our sewer
rate. I he sewer issue is a complex one, and steps have
been taken in the last year to turn the problem around; but
there is still much to do, and 1 want to participate in
resolving this major problem for the City.
I .ven though (he bond issue failed, our city is still operating
in cramped quarters. We must address this issue in a
manner that is affordable lor the Citizens and workable for
an efficient city staff.
Please feel free to call me at 495-2174 if I can answer any
questions regarding these or other areas of concern. I
hope you will vote on Saturday May 7, 1988.
