LADIES READY TO WEAR
Ladies' Ready to Wear located at 70S
Polk street, Ainarlllo, Texas.
You will look like a wonderful
somebody from somewhere, just as if
you had been a lite-long customer of a
Paris shop or had visited the most ex-
clusive shops of the Avenue in New
York if you do your shopping here
as they have the very latest, in fact
anticipations of the styles of the morrow.
The management visits the most ad-
vanced makers of the day, those crea-
tors of fashion who know what tomor-
row, will be popular; is an excellent
judge of style, materials and finishing
and secures for the people of this
part of the state choice importations and
American-made products from the latest
of models.
In the way of seasonable coats and
dresses they carry the very latest pat-
terns from which to select. They stand
back of all goods they sell and as a con-
sequence the ladies over the adjoining
territory have great confidence in the re-
liability of this store. No matter whether
it is a morning, afternoon, evening or a
sport 'garment that you desire, you will
find here a very complete stock.
The service at this store is individual.
The sales people are students of the types
of people, the correct styles of the day
and of excellent judgment, thus being
able to aid in the selection of garments
that arc very becoming. This service is
helpful but never obtrusive and no one
is urged to buy. They do not want to sell
you anything that they know you will not
iike as they are not looking for a sale but
customers who depend on their service
for years for the coming fashions.
In making this review we arc glad
to compliment them upon their modern
store, its excellent appointments, their
stock of advanced styles and their mod-
ern service. The fact that they are re-
sponsible for so many smartly attired peo-
ple of this part of the state and add much
to the charm of the dress of the period
making them merit the large custom they
enjoy and the commercial success which
they have achieved.

ket price. They transact a large business
and this house is quite an economic factor
in the life of the territory.
Eads Poultry and Egg conduct one of
the most valued institutions in the com-
munity and worthy of prominent mention
in this review. They purchase poultry
and eggs and it is one of the very busy
places in the community where trading
in all of its deparments is carried on
with promptness.
While poultry may not seem import-
ant yet it is necessary to have an outlet
fur them and the people of this section
are fortunate in having a depot so effi-
ciently managed. This popular firm lias
always been for honest and straightfor-
ward methods and very fair dealings
with every one who visits the place, con-
sequently this establishment adds much
to the efficiencies of the city as a trad-
ing center.
A special feature with this firm is
the furnishing of market quotations and
you will find courtesy and accommoda-
tion always in evidence. You are urged
to call them at any time and the latest
and most authoritative quotations are at
your service.
They've made a host of friends as
well as patrons throughout the commun-
ity and have always been courteous and
ready and willing to give the best of ser-
vice and the highest prices consistent
with the conditions of the market and
good business. We are pleased to compli-
ment this latter day business firm and in
this business review wish to direct your
attention to the concern as among the
ini|Kirtant business places of this section.
We are pleased to present the J. W.
Jenkins Son Music Co., in their fifty-
ninth year of service to the people. They
are exclusive dealers for the Steinway
Pianos and Hammond Organs, also carry
Fairbanks-Morse Refrigerators and Ra-
dios, and Chickering-Vose and Story
Clark Pianos. If it is a good piano it
comes from J. W. Jenkins Son Music
Co. For this reason there is a general
satisfaction in doing business with this
well known concern which is considered
musical headquarters by the people of this
part of the state.
During the time they have been in
business they have merited a reputation
for fair and straigh forward dealings.
They know the value of pianos and other
musical instruments and their customers
know that when they make a price that
it denotes real true value. The lines of
pianos, players and other musical instru-
ments have been endorsed by the leaders
of the World of Music. This insures the
customer of getting a musical instrument
worth while, and their policy of one price
and easy payment insures you full value
for your money. They will be pleased to
show you whether you desire to purchase
at this time or not. Hear them, compare
them—then judge for yourself.
They are thoroughly conversant with
all features of the business over which
they have direction, and will be pleased
to take up the matter with you. They
operate an institution that adds much to
the | efficiency of the community as a leading
center, and in this review we arc pleas-
ed to point with pride to the great suc-
cess they are making in their chosen pro-
fession, and insure our readers that at
this establishment they will always re-
ceive a square deal. The proprietors are
to be highly complimented upon the val-
ued service rendered the public.
It adds to the community's progress
and expansion, to have in its midst such
firms as this one to which we refer
all our readers.

REAL ESTATE
C. M. Thomas Co., located at 309
Polk street, Amarillo Building, Am-
arillo, Texas
The active real estate firm of today is
one that meets the demands of conserva-
tive people of this advancing day and
age, where all are seeking investments
that not only are increasing in value but
where a permanent income is assured.
This firm is doing more than their share
to meet that demand in this section which
is fortunate to have such a progressive
firm in its midst.
Here the public has at its service men
who have studied the developments of
this section, having been very closely
identified with this section in growth and
expansion, offering both the buying and
selling public the highest type of service.
At present they have listed on their
books country and town properties that
could not fail to be attractive to anyone
intending to purchase. This community
has learned that their word is their bond
as they never list property above its true
value and their familiarity with the local
conditions makes them authority on true
values. Thus the jieople come to them
with confidence for advice when they wish
a medium through which they can dispose
or buy property as they have been decid-
edly fair at all times.
We wish to refer this fine office to
all of our readers when they have prop-
erty to list and can rest assured through
this firm they can locate the best buyer.
Such men aid materially in the gen-
those on | eral growth and expansion of the com-
munity and we take great pleasure in
referring them to all of our readers.

A very few years ago the business of

Early transactions in used automobiles
